cute little bar next to the river. good prices and good specials. surprisingly diverse choices for draft beer. I came for lunch, but this seems like a good place to go out to in the evening. limited on vegetarian options but that's not a huge deal

Sunday's they have the best fried chicken around cooked fresh. Also their appetizers are good and a lot of kinds of beers with good service.

The food here is great. Burgers especially. More parking in the back so if you get here and it looks full use the back door. Right across the street from the river. If it is raining a lot maybe you don't wanna go here it is in a flood zone, however, they have the flood walls. Great place to go for beer as well. One of my favorite places in the Kankakee area. If you like Ma and Pa places come here

I've been going to this restaurant for over 20+ yrs. Irish bar feel, friendly employee's, great food and dessert!!! Also, not too expensive, fun location and Breakfast on the weekends.

I moved away 30 years ago: but no trip home is complete until I have a Pier burger! And of course the VIEW!

I have ate hamburgers all round Kankakee Bradley and Bourbonnais in Illinois Ryan's Pier had by far the best hamburger.

I will be honest, I wasn't quite sure what to expect going in. And the opinion doesn't change much when you walk through the door. It's cluttered, and maybe a bit dirty, but holy cow, the food was amazing! Our bar tender/waitress was great. The beer was cold and inexpensive. The view of the river was priceless. We will certainly be going back!

I liked this place. Good food & good service Now the rub. My date & I went there on a Sunday for lunch. The place was totally empty. We chose 2 seats at the bar with a beautiful rivers view. We got up when we were done eating (bar area still empty), but left some of are stuff there. The blonde waitress at the end of the bar, sat in my date's seat, a customer came in & proceeded to sit in my seat. Then I couldn't believe it, they moved our stuff. We left after I checked my purse. I hope you are reading this Ryan's.

Good selection of food and a full bar. Service was ok. It's located in front of the Kankakee river in a great spot for fishing. You can easily fish all day and then stop off for a beer and food.

Nice bar/restaurant with a good view of the river. Really good food, especially if you're looking for a burger. Big portions and excellent prices. Large drink menu with tons of different options. They have lots of seating also.

There is something that did bother me about the food but not enough to lower 5 star rating. Food was good and on time. Flavor was there and "MOSTLY" quality Ingredients.

Usually a pretty great place to eat, maybe we went on an off night.. the burger looked amazing, the crab cakes didn't impress however. Friendly staff and they had outside seating.

Good food. Clean. And the owner is super nice. Even bakes cakes, pies and cookies and brings them in

It was horrible. We waited 1:45 before we simply paid for the appetizers and left without ever receiving our food. When we inquired about the wait were told simply that we were busy. No one in charge and poor customer service.

We ordered the fried chicken dinner and fish and chips. Very very greasy! Fish was mush inside the batter. Bisquit was dry. Chicken was overcooked.

Awesome food and service

We went on a gorgeous night and ate outside. Food was good. I had pepper Jack chicken. Others had a burger, deep fried fish, patty melt and a burger with pineapple on it. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We will definitely be going back.

This place was really cool after we ate lunch there we took a tour of the downstairs. Theres actually a boat under there. Food was great. We took our bikes there.

Beautiful views, great menu, decent pricing, fast service. This is one of my favorite places to go.

Good food and lots of it at very reasonable prices. It's beautiful sitting outdoors right by the Kankakee River. We went on Father's Day and it may have been a bit overwhelming for the staff, but honestly they were so husy trying to keep up and did a pretty good job. It couldn't have been easy. We'll be back because it is a very relaxing atmosphere with gorgeous scenery.

Great restaurant and great selection of beers. Always great service and an awesome spot to view the Kankakee river. We love being able to stop here when we're out on the river as well.
